The project aims to build a stronger integration strategy and ecosystem for migrants and asylum seekers (women, men, families, LGBTIQ) in Europe, in 4 thematic areas: health, employment, capacity building and training, social cohesion.
INTEgreat will build on the work carried out by the EU INTEGRA project at urban level, developing good practices in 4 specific areas of integration.
The pilots will directly engage migrants and local citizens in different activities to increase TCNs’ sense of belonging in the host communities. Activities will include:
- organization of intercultural events to reduce prejudice and discrimination
- information sessions for TCNs on local policies related to healthcare and employment
- training programs to build and strengthen the capacity of TCNs trainings for local citizens on cultural differences to facilitate interactions with migrants.
