In this event, we will explore the power of component-based thinking and how it can help us simplify daunting and complex problems in our code as well as our personal lives. Our speaker is a software engineer who has overcome significant challenges as a refugee and used coding skills to build a successful career in technology. Through personal anecdotes and practical examples, our speaker will explain how breaking down problems into smaller components can help us better understand and address them. They will demonstrate how component-based thinking can be applied not only to software development but also to other areas of life, such as problem-solving, decision-making, and goal-setting.
Our guest speaker is Adel Batel
Adel is a full-stack software engineer who brings a strong background in programming to his work. Originally from Syria, he arrived in Greece 7 years ago as a refugee and has since established himself in the software development field. Adel studied at SHA before earning a computer science degree from the University of Sheffield. Currently, Adel is a member of the LearnWorlds engineering team, where he collaborates with colleagues to develop cutting-edge software solutions for the learning management space.
